On the 19th of September 2019 the Factory Acceptance Test of the switchboards for the Damen Tanker 4800T took place in the workshop of Van der Leun in Suzhou.
The switchboards, including the MSB, ESB, AMS cabinet, all 230V & 24V distribution boards, starter cabinets and alarm columns passed the tests with excellent performance and were all certified by Bureau Veritas.
Van der Leun is responsible for the complete electrical design, system integration, delivery of electrical equipment, on-site supervision and commissioning for this vessel.
