On the 23rd of July, Van der Leun awarded Fair Oceanic with a new contract for the delivery of the navigation and communication equipment for a newbuild Ropax Ferry. With these carefully selected components, Van der Leun will design and build the navigation desk and safety console according to the rules & regulations of DNV, SOLAS and IMO.

The combination of Fair Oceanic’s knowledge and experience in Nav-Comm solutions and Van der Leun’s expertise as a system integrator for the marine industry has proven to be very successful.

Each desk or console is customized to meet the requirements of the marine classification societies and clients. On top of the quality, functionality and safety requirements we also consider the available space within the vessel to find a perfectly integrated solution.

The customized design of the safety console and navigation desk for this Ropax Ferry is already finished, please have a look at the 3D models below.

We are already looking forward to showing you the final result when the desks are fully assembled and all nav-comm components have been integrated at our production facility in Suzhou, China.
