Last Thursday and Friday, our client from Damen and the surveyor from the BV society came to our workshop to witness the main and emergency switchboards passed the factory acceptance test successfully.

Both switchboards are included in an electrical package for a Damen crane barge 7532 which will be built at the Damen Yichang Shipyard. The electrical package is including:

• System integration

• Engineering, deliveries and project management

• Main switchboards

• Emergency switchboard

• Power distribution panels

• Shore supply

• Feeders for pedestal mounted crane

• ECR console

• Transformers

• Cable delivery

• Navigation lighting system

• Fire detection System

• Announcement system

• Engine Room alarm system

• Commissioning

The vessel will be delivered in the beginning of 2021.
