On May 6, 2021, Van der Leun China received an urgent request for service from one of our old “friends” --- the Hydrodeck, a module offloading facility transition pontoon.

In 2014, we delivered the complete electrical system, including advanced automation systems, such as the Power Management System, Alarm and Monitoring System and Automatic Ballasting System. 
7 years later the Shanghai Bo Qiang Company has become the proud new owner and decided to refit the pontoon and install two new crawler cranes on it. However, due to improper operations, lack of maintenance and not resolving the problems in time, the automation systems were in need of service. And Van der Leun received the urgent request for support to recover the integrated systems. 

Our service team was able to respond quickly and travel to the shipyard to investigate the problems.
After careful inspection, our team was able to identify and solve the issues. 

We are happy to see that vessel will start its new journey with a brand-new look and we are confident the new owner will be very happy with its performance.
